The Social Bonding Committee at my former workplace organised this fun event called a Food Hunt where we had to go to various eateries all around the island based on clues that we uncovered.

It took place on a weekend (which is a non-working day), but all who took part felt that it was a worthwhile way to spend the weekend as well as get to know fellow colleagues better.

Glad to say that my team played fair and square and actually consumed our food, while some other teams “cheated” and only took a few bites before wastefully leaving the food behind. Despite this, we just barely missed third place!

In my previous workplace, there was an Adventure Learning programme where all new recruits had to go for a team building session and go through some team challenge games together.

Think it was a good idea as it brought together people of different ages and departments who may otherwise never have interacted.

When I got my first paycheck, it was apparently a “tradition” to give a treat to the colleagues. As A.N. just joined shortly after me and KR owed them a treat even though it was already way beyond his first month paycheck.

We went to this restaurant at Taka that was under the Tung Lok banner. I can remember that everyone had a great time and the meal was quite nice. Too bad the restaurant is long gone…

In my first job, I had to move office a grand total of 2 times, which meant that Ｉhad a grand total of 3 different offices. Somehow for the life of me, I can’t remember which storey my first office is on even though I work in the same building for my new job now.
