Trip to Bangalore was indeed an eye-opener! The way that the drivers understood each other was absolutely amazing. The traffic seemed to be in a perpetual of near-misses between vehicles, but everything ends up ok.
What I couldn’t believe when I got back was people telling me that the traffic was even worse in Mumbai! I suppose that will be something I have to see for myself.

Seems like HP has angered quite a lot of consumers recently. I saw a website dedicated to complaints against HP where the recurring theme is that HP is not doing anything about products that are obviously defective.
Something to think about before buying that HP notebook/desktop? I would also think twice about Compaq since its tarred by the same HP brush.

In my first week of work I was surprised to see an army-mate strolling up to say “Hi” to me at work. Nick saw my photo in the email that was sent out to all the staff members.
For some strange reason, I only got a notebook for work purposes in my second job. I think in this day and age, a notebook is more practical than a workstation unless you really require some high technical specifications that a notebook cannot support easily or cheaply.
Think I have been more productive toting a notebook around for meetings. Beats carrying a paper notebook to take notes then transferring it to my PC…
Celebrated my first Christmas at my new workplace. As my company is split into 2 different levels within the same building, there were lots of people whom I have not seen even though I have already been here since July!
Taking photos for the Christmas celebrations was a good experience as I got to walk around and meet the people. 🙂
