Thailand “MRT” card

If you’ve never seen one before, then this is it.

Interesting… I seem to have accidentally introduced an optical effect where the card looks like its floating off my hand…

Anyway, I took this pic while I was exploring Bangkok on my own after my wife went for a massage with her extended family; I didn’t go as massage is a waste of money on me because I don’t have aches and pains very often, and I don’t feel anything special after a massage. All I did was to explore Siam Square and the entire MBK. MBK is damn big…

Dunkin’ Donuts

I’ve had this craving for Dunkin’ Donuts since the last time I was in the US at Florida with Esh. We passed by quite a few DD outlets but we never stopped by any of them.

This time, on my recent trip to the US, I finally managed to pay a visit to a DD outlet. As with most things where you build the anticipation up to a crescendo, the actual donut was… disappointing. I’ve had better donuts in SG.

Anyway, reproduced here in multi-colour glory is the donut.

No Coach

Went to the US not long ago and one of my friends requested me to buy a Coach bag for him as a gift for his girlfriend. I didn’t do any shopping in San Francisco so I thought I had better drop by one of the outlets in L.A. Unfortunately, the Coach shop was “Coming Soon”…

Aquamarine

We made a trip to Aquamarine to try out the lunch buffet. Had a nice cup of coffee after the stomach-bursting meal.

We were so full that we had to take a walk. While Esh stopped by at Mothercare, her Dad and I brought Lee-Ann to look at the fish in the aquarium

One of the last stops was at Mango. It was quite a challenging day as it was the first time we made use of the pram. I just found out that it was a big challenge to bring a pram down the escalator. I had to struggle a bit, while Esh left the pram behind after unsuccessfully trying to manouevre the pram properly!
