Mutant Mango

You know how it is in those comic book stories where the soon-to-be superhero comes into contact with some strange thing and then gets his superpowers? You know, Spiderman got bitten by a radioactive spider, Flash got struck by lightning while he was in his lab, etc.

I ate this mango (pictured below) a while back but I haven’t turned into MangoMan yet…

Esh sniggering

Pretty creepy… I woke up at 4.40am, not really sure why, but when I tried to go back to sleep, Esh suddenly giggled in her sleep.

That was a bit creepy to hear in the middle of the night. I tried to ignore and settled myself down to sleep again. Just when I was about to doze off, she giggled again as she turned to face the other side…

Google Desktop for Enterprise

The ordinary Google Desktop is not useful for my workplace as it is unable to index Lotus Notes. Luckily Google Desktop for Enterprise (GDE) is here!

Now I don’t think I can do without GDE at work. Its really convenient to just type in keywords and retrieve all documents related to the keywords. Unfortunately, sometimes I need to manually clean up the index because GDE also indexes my browser history and it throws up irrelevant pages as a result.

If you want to find out more about GDE, you can go to the GDE website.

“What I like to have right now…”

“Is for all you fat, ugly out-of-shape Singaporeans keep the noise down while I take my robe off, and show you what simply Ravishing means… Hit the music!”

That’s paraphrasing what RRR (Ravishing Rick Rude) would say whenever he steps into the wrestling ring. He was a WWF (back then it was still known as WWF) superstar back when I was in Primary School, and his constant run-ins with The Ultimate Warrior always was a talking point with other guy friends.

Wonder what happened to him?

Strange shopping

There was once I dreamt that I was with Esh and we were looking for something in a whole series of shops. I’m not talking about shopping centre shops but shops like those provision shops you see at the ground level of HDB flats.

Think they looked similar to those shops I came across when I was exploring the area near Derricks Toa Payoh home.
